So it has been about three weeks, now, since we took Ava's binky away. I was really nervous to do it but I was so sick of seeing it in her mouth and we were constantly looking for the stinkin things. I was ready for the break.
And she has handled it so well. One day and she was done with it. I mean it didn't stay that easy. She is a lot more awenry during the day because she isn't picking up on any self soothing techniques. She is still a blast though. We have been out and about a lot lately and she has been troopin along with no problem.
We went to the park at Town Square Mall. They have a really cute playground. They also have a really good frozen yogurt place and tons of good shopping.
Ava was helping her dad hang some pictures up in our new house. We are so excited to be living in his house and that we have family right down the street. I love it.
Donnie and Nicole brought their kids down for a visit over the weekend. This picture has Sophia and Ava lounging on the gate.
When we were in utah it snowed. Ava thought the snow was something growing on the grass, so she kept trying to smell it. Brian ate some in front of her and she looked at him with a pretty mean face.
Once she was used to the cold she didn't even notice it anymore. She wanted to go down the slides but it was way to cold and the slides were wet. She through a fit the whole way home.
Rhone and Ava are quite the pair. He pats her on the head like she is so much littler than him. The are only weeks apart. They play really well together. It was fun to see them.
We had to eat at Training Table while we were there. It was good. Ava really liked the dipping sauce..
Of course we have been on the boat even though the temps are going down. Brian just isn't interested in hearing any cry baby over cold water. He's funny. This picture is of Chloe, Ryder, and Ava pretending that they are getting pulled by the boat. It was a little windy that day and the temperature wasn't very hot. Still it was a good time.
